The principals of the company are Jackson Bain and Sandra Bain, both former national level journalists and internationally recognized counselors in these highly specialized communications fields.

Bain and Associates opened in 1993 at its corporate headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.  Jackson Bain took a hiatus to serve as Vice President, Public Affairs for the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions from 2007 to 2011.  With his return to Bain and Associates as Chairman and CEO, the company resumed service to former and new clients.
